Not so sure if this is good or bad? Naturally I'm glad it's coming to DVD, but so quickly?? Is that good for him? I wish it had been more successful. But at least he seems like he had a great time:)

It makes me really angry that because Jeff and the other actors in this awesome movie are not considered A-List actors fewer people are going to see The Losers at the cinema so it gets released on dvd and blu-ray so quickly because of less money being made at the box office. It is so wrong to me that The Losers isn't making as much money at the box office as it most likely would have if the so-called A-List actors (eg Brad Pitt,George Cloney,Will Smith,Angelina Jolie etc) had starred in it.
People who refuse to see The Losers because the actors are not as well-known really miss out on experiencing a well-acted,acton-packed movie. :loveshower:

In previous times, DVDs did take longer to come out, but now it's not as long a wait time. For instance, this came out April 23 in theaters, and will come out on DVD July 20, so that's almost three months to the day. "New Moon," which unfortunately had a longer play time in the theaters, came out about five months after it hit theaters. "Fast & Furious," which was a big hit but MUCH worse than "The Losers," in my opinion, came out April 9th, 2009 and was released July 28th, 2009 to DVD, which is just a little longer than "The Losers."

I wouldn't necessarily look at this as a bad thing. As I stated, movies hit DVD faster now, and obviously, we all hoped the movie would be bigger in theaters than it was, but I believe that the studio realizes that the audience at which the movie was targeted - comic book/graphic novel fans, and action fans - are more likely to pay $20 to OWN the DVD than pay $8-$12 for the chance to see it once. I am not saying that all the fans are like that - obviously there are many fans of those genres plus the actors fans that went to see it in theaters. However, I believe the studio realizes it is much more likely to be successful, possibly even a cult hit, on DVD. (At least, that's what I am hoping!!)
